I have been doing pastel painting since October 2022. Pastel is my preferred medium although I have also tried watercolour and charcoal pencil.
I mainly do animal and bird portraits as well as flowers. I occasionally do landscapes.
I am 75 years old. I started my art adventure as a hobby to keep me busy. I had a stroke in 2019 and I have found this work to be very therapeutic both physically and mentally. I am looking forward with great enthusiasm to my participation with the Camrose Arts Society.
