ART WALK THROUGH THE GARDENS DESIGN CONTEST 2025

Camrose Arts Society is running a design contest as part of the Art Walk Through The Gardens 2025. Camrose Arts Society is located in Camrose Alberta 

Participants will create a design that incorporates the theme of Art and Garden. The designs will be judged and the winning design will be featured on a tote bag with the second place design being featured on a bookmark. The artist will have their name featured on the design as the artist.  The bags and bookmarks will be sold as a fundraiser for Camrose Arts Society. 

TIME OF CONTEST

The design contest will run from April 28-May 19, 2025 at 11.59pm.

HOW TO ENTER

Designs will be uploaded to Camrose Arts Society email  events@camroseartssociety no later than 11:59 pm on May 19, 2025. Submission format must be JPG or PNG.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ENTRY 

The design contest will be open to MEMBERS OF CAMROSE ARTS SOCIETY only. Membership status will be checked when the entry is received.  Entrants may join Camrose Arts Society through the website https://camroseartssociety.ca/membership/ any time prior to submitting their entry. 

Each entrant can submit up to TWO designs. 

Entrants must be over the age of 16

PARAMETERS OF THE DESIGN

The design parameters are open as far as colors & design but should be on the theme of GARDENS. .  

Please include your name in the design in the bottom right corner.  Your name must be able to be covered for blind judging.  

JUDGING 

Judging of the designs will be done by a panel of independent judges after May 19th 2025 . The winners will be announced on May 28th, 2025 by email notification to the winner of 1st and 2nd place as well as through CAS Facebook and IG social media accounts.

PRIZES 

1st place – The winner of the design contest will have their winning design printed onto a tote bag which will be sold as a fundraiser for CAS. The first place winner will win a tote bag and 2 tickets to the Art Walk Through The Gardens.  

2nd place – The second place winner will have their design printed onto a bookmark which will be sold as a fundraiser for CAS. The second place winner will win a bookmark and 1 ticket to the Art Walk Through The Gardens. 

Winners will make arrangements to pick up their prizes prior to July 12, 2025. Pickup details will be given in the notifying of winner emails.   Winners will agree to have their design and their photo published in advertising.  The winners must agree to relinquish all rights to their winning designs to Camrose Arts Society.
