When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, I was only fourteen. At such a delicate age, boredom and loneliness quickly took hold. I decided then to fully embrace the small hobby I had picked up, becoming obsessed with learning artistic techniques. In my isolation, I found adventure in playing with different mediums. As I grew more comfortable, and began maturing in my voice, I found great catharsis in using art making as an outlet to communicate my feelings in a way that was safe and metaphorical.
I can’t imagine my life without creating, and learning how those creations impact other people. I take pride in creating human art with human consequences.
