Camrose Arts Society is…
…A not-for-profit organization that promotes, nurtures and supports the arts for the enrichment of community life
The society is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and its members (individuals and groups).
In 1979, the Camrose Arts Society became an incorporated organization, complete with charitable status. We have worked actively to encourage and develop a growing arts presence in our community. Camrose and district is incredibly rich in creative resources, artists and events.
In 1995, with the cooperation of the City of Camrose and the Camrose Co-op, the society moved into its new home, the Chuck MacLean Arts Centre, which was dedicated in June 1996.
The City of Camrose is widely known for the scope and excellence of its cultural and artistic activity.
