About
A history of artistic community engagement.
In 1979 the Camrose Arts Society became an incorporated organization with charitable status. Since then, the CAS has delivered a wide variety of arts and cultural programming for our community.
Our Mission
In early 2020, the CAS began working on a new strategic plan, which was further altered by the global pandemic and changes to the City of Camrose operating structure within the arts and recreation department. These conditions have created a wonderful opportunity to re evaluate our mission, vision, and the way that we do business.
Our focus, moving forward, will be on city wide arts/cultural programming, and supporting our membership in artistic growth and development. As a not-for-profit organization, we will focus on filling gaps in services to meet the needs of our community.
With this in mind, 2021 will bring a return of the Camrose Art Walk and a new community ‘City as a Gallery’ Mural Project, among other exciting programs and services. We can’t wait to tell you all about them as planning progresses!

Board of Directors
The Camrose Arts Society is run by a group of community volunteers that make up our Board of Directors. Take a moment to get to know our team and why they decided to help promote the arts in Camrose.
