Artist Statement
I pay attention to the many gifts and blessings around me for inspiration. My life is an ongoing adventure that keeps getting better. I explore a variety of artistic methods and materials gleaning artistic inspiration as well as expanding my abilities.
About the Artist
Carole-May is enthusiastic about art and painting. She is a life-long learner, constantly researching and reading about art and other artists. She has attended workshops with various accomplished art instructors. As well, she has completed many classes in the Fine Arts certificate program at the University of Alberta.
Carole-May enjoys working with watercolours, and acrylics in a loose, impressionistic way and looks forward to learning much about her latest interests, mixed media, and abstract painting, as well as exploring oil with cold wax medium. She is committed to expressing her own unique, artistic voice.
Currently Carole-May volunteers with the Arts Society of Strathcona County, the Camrose Arts Society, and the Mirror Lake Art Club in Camrose.
