I am Adan Shaikh aka Aden Makan (pen name) I am a news reporter by day and a poet by night. My purpose is to create more kindness and support in this world. My poems are based on difficult emotions that we may struggle with and not want to talk about. I believe in the healing powers of art (all mediums) and hope I can make a contribution to that in our community.
