Terry Wilton

Exploring the subjective world of human nature through music and fiction

Working as a psychologist, I was daily immersed in the human condition. I had the privilege of walking many difficult emotional journeys with my clients. And so what does a guy do upon retirement with the wisdoms and wonderings from such a professional career? He follows his own passions, creating and celebrating through the arts.

While bound by the ethics of confidentiality to not disclose any client story, my fiction explores human nature with its perplexities, hope, grace and love. My music conveys the wealth of emotional experience that I had in doing that work, its dissonances and resolutions.

Beginning January 2023 I have been playing live jazz at Mainstreet 1908 most Saturday afternoons 12:30 to 1:30 and 2:30 to 3:30.
