Carol Cairns
I am an artist in oil, watercolours and pastels but oils are my favourite. I specialize in landscapes, flowers and animals. I come from a family of artists, each with our own styles and mediums. It is always fun to get together and compare our current projects. I live near Lindbrook on an acerage and still substitute teach.

I mainly do animal and bird portraits as well as flowers. I occasionally do landscapes. I am 75 years old. I started my art adventure as a hobby to keep me busy.…

I have painted for many years . I enjoy being out doors and trying to capture the textures and light of rural scenes. I like working on both realistic and abstract imagery and try not to leave home without a sketch book.
